Second Chance Romance

Haunted by the responsibility of caring for her troubled family, Maya Jacobs gave the only answer she could when Cameron asked her to marry him. Years later, entrenched in a soulless professional routine, she distracts herself from the lingering regret of her decision with a “work hard, play hard” lifestyle that guarantees no man will ever find his way into her heart again.

Cameron Bridge has spent the past five years married to the military, trying to escape the painful memory of losing Maya. After fighting his own war in the desert, he starts a new life in New York City, with his siblings, Olivia and Darren, by his side.

When fate brings Maya back to him in the heart of a city filled with its own hopes and shadows, can Cameron find the girl he once loved in the woman she’s become?

Just gripping!
I feel like I can finally breath after holding my breath from shear captivation and anticipation while reading this! The writing was brilliant and intense. I am emotionally drained in the best way. This is because the story and characters were so vivid that I felt like I was living this right along with them. Their love was amazing and hot and sexy. I'm very sad this is over but can't wait to read the next book in the series. I highly recommend this book.

A must read series
The story between Maya and Cameron will make you cry, make you mad but in the end brings you so much happiness. Maya lives a hard life, she has no one she can depend on except herself. She falls in love with a name Cameron who loves her deeply but can he save her from her own destructive self. She is in college and Cameron joins the military, there are separated for a while due to his military obligations. But he gets some leave time so he goes and stays with Maya. They have a wonderful week then everything goes wrong and Cameron walks away. 5 years have come and gone and they come across each other in New York. Their lives are so different but what hasn't changed is the way they have always felt about each other. Is their feelings for each other enough to make another go at their relationship after 5 years without having anything to do with each other?

Let me just say WOW ❤️
Meredith Wild has done it again!!!! I adore her writing and she's by far my favorite author. She wrote my all time favorite series "The Hackers" series! That series I loved so much! She did it again with "On My Knees". She surprises you with things in her books! She makes you wish you had the kind of love the characters give each other! She makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you sad, mad, and so much more in her books! I loved "On My Knees" ❤️❤️❤️ 100% recommend it! ❤️
